2025 Crystalaire Adventures Schedule

Crystalaire Mini Adventures

Ages 10-15 (Grades 3-9)

Our South Manitou Island "Mini Adventures" are designed to complement our 1-week and 2-week residential camp sessions at Camp Carvela and Camp Lookout. However, these trips can also be done as a stand-alone camp experience. This 3-day mini adventure is the perfect introduction to wilderness camping and is ideal for campers who are interested in participating in our longer expedition-style trips in the future.

MORE INFORMATION REGARDING REGISTRATION
Payment and cancellation policy

(Updated 12/14/2023)

Waitlist

If your desired trip is filled, you can complete the enrollment process to be added to the trip waitlist. No deposit is required for waitlisted campers.

Payment Information
The best way to make a payment is through your account
A 20% deposit is due within 1 week after you are approved for the session.
Your spot is not confirmed until you pay your deposit. If we do not receive your deposit by the due date and cannot reach you, your registration will be canceled to allow the opportunity to another camper.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, at any time leading up to camp, you will receive a full refund for the amount paid, minus a $200 cancellation fee. Cancellation fees are charged per application, so if you have more than one camper registered, the fee will occur on each account. This fee will be held regardless of the date of your cancellation notice, so you become liable for the fee immediately after making your first payment.

Payment Plans

You have the option to pay your balance in full or join our automatic monthly payments. Then payments will be taken out each month with the final payment taking place on June 1st, 2025. Please make sure your auto payments are processed correctly; otherwise you will have a large balance due on June 1st.

If paying by check, your monthly payment will also be due within the first week of each month and will need to be mailed to PO Box 1129, Frankfort, MI 49635.

Other Information

To help us organize your camper's trip and make your child’s camp experience as enjoyable as possible, email us a brief note commenting on any of the following: recent changes in your child’s life; difficulties in school; past camp experiences; unusual/difficult medical or emotional experiences; your child’s ease of making friends; hobbies/activities especially enjoyed; what your child is looking forward to (or not looking forward to) at camp, etc.

It is also helpful for campers to provide a brief statement about themselves. This registration form and both parent and camper statements will be used to organize cabin groups and will be shared with your child’s counselor. All comments will be treated confidentially.
